29.11.2024

On November 26, the Croatian Chamber of Economy organized the 2nd conference on internationalization titled “Financial Support for the Internationalization of Business – New Rules of the Global Game.” This prestigious event brought together Croatian entrepreneurs, as well as domestic and international experts from the fields of economy, technology, and politics, who discussed the current challenges of conducting business in a global environment.

Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences in exporting and to delve into key topics such as risk management, logistical challenges, and financial support for internationalization. A special focus was placed on the new financing rules that help entrepreneurs better identify opportunities for expanding their businesses into international markets.

Our General Manager and co-owner, Krešimir Paić, participated in a panel discussion titled “Export Without Borders: Financing Strategies, Risk Management, and Logistical Challenges.” He shared his insights from international markets, particularly emphasizing our successful operations in Germany through our daughter company, Deccos GmbH, where we collaborate with some of the world’s largest investors. The panel addressed crucial risks and challenges that entrepreneurs face when expanding into the German market. He stressed the necessity of thoroughly understanding legal, tax, and technical regulations, as well as securing financing and issuing bank guarantees for significant deals. He also encouraged Croatian companies not to fear exporting and stated, “We need to rid ourselves of feelings of inferiority; we are better than most!”

This conference provided a unique opportunity to network with key industry players and explore innovative business models. We are pleased to have expanded our business horizons, exchanged experiences, and connected with leaders from diverse sectors.
