Modular design of application enables easy upgrades, integration with other systems in health care institutions and the minimal need for system maintenance.

At the Pula General Hospital, an advanced hospital communication system that supports communication between healthcare professionals and the patient at the level of rooms (one voice terminal per room) was introduced. Patients can remotely control the light and the communication between rooms and health care staff is achieved by intercom system based on state-of-the-art IP technology.

In addition to the basic call for help option and communication with health care staff at the level of rooms, it is possible to implement system that supports communication between healthcare professionals and the patient at the level of bed, and in addition to light control, patients can operate curtains and access multimedia content, such as the telephone, television, and the internet, multimedia, food and beverage ordering services, newspapers, etc. The purpose of installing such a system is to save time and minimize unnecessary steps of staff so that they can be maximally dedicated to patient care.

The hospital communication systems offered by Eccos meet the specific requirements according to customers’ needs. Integration of the hospital communication system and Eccos security platform, Epsimax, which enables central monitoring and control of various safety and security systems, provide a complete security solution for the institution.
