Eccos always strives to keep abreast of the latest technologies in the market, but is no less behind with the up-to-date education of its employees. The latest contribution to the expertise of the Eccos team is due to Željko Medić receiving CISM certification.
Željko has seventeen years of experience in IT, more than 11 of which at Eccos, where he plans and develops internal IT and participates in most of Eccos’s external projects. In addition to numerous Microsoft and Cisco certifications, he has recently passed the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification exam.
CISM is a higher-level certification that validates an individual’s ability and knowledge to develop and manage information security for a company. The certificate is intended primarily for IT managers and IT consultants and is certified and recognized by the ISO standard.
One of the main goals of CISM certification is to demonstrate that the certificate holder understands the business and needs of a company and successfully adapts to the risks, challenges and requirements of the technology business. In addition to passing the exam, CISM certification requires a minimum of five years of work experience in the field of IT security, it requires continuous improvement and learning and it needs to be renewed every three years.
The importance of the certificate is shown by it being listed as the most useful and desirable certificate within the business circle worldwide (Global Knowledge, Business News Daily).
