Eccos’s Chief Technology Officer recently got a doctorate in Computer Science. Dejan Čakija defended a dissertation at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, entitled “Optimization of Security Elements Selection and Placement in Physical Security System” and thus obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science.
The aim of the research was to determine the method of automating the design of safety and security systems using artificial intelligence. Scientific contributions have been made in the field of machine learning, and new methods have been devised to accelerate the search for quality solutions in multi-criteria optimization algorithms.
Dejan has twenty years of experience as a Chief Technology Officer, where he and whole research and development team are working on application solutions primarily used for complex systems in the field of safety and security and parking systems, as well as smart city solutions. Mostly thanks to Dejan Eccos has his own solutions; Epsimax – an application for the integration of security systems and Eccos Smart City Enablement Platform (ESCEP) – a platform that ensures more efficient functioning of the city administration and raises the level of public safety. Given its expertise and proven results so far, we do not doubt the development of another innovative solution.
