The 19th international professional conference « Management and Security M&S 2024 » with the theme « Digitalization and Security » was held by the European Society of Safety Engineers (ESSE) on June 14th and 15th.The conference was conducted both online and in person at Stubičke Toplice, bringing together numerous occupational health and safety experts from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and other European countries.
The conference program was enriched by Eccos’ sales and projects specialist, Tomislav Lacković, with a lecture on Energy efficiency using the example of a retail chain. In his professional paper under the same title, he defined proposals for measures and activities to improve the energy efficiency of the point of sale based on the analysis of the results obtained during the long-term monitoring of the consumption of electricity, water, and gas, as well as temperature monitoring and management of heating, ventilation, and cooling.
Rational management of electricity and other energy sources, in addition to reducing the total costs of building maintenance, also represents a significant contribution to environmental protection.
