Over two hundred participants and more than seventy successful business people gathered from the 4th to the 6th of November at the 5th Meeting G2 conference, which gathers Croatian businessmen from all around the world with the aim of networking and increasing the investment of expatriates and export of Croatian products.
Three days of the conference were filled with inspirational lectures, panel discussions, introducing successful Croatian entrepreneurs and networking sessions where participants could get to know one another, exchange contacts and experiences. The topics covered in the panels were IT sector in Croatia, Croatian fashion industry, the export of Croatian services and products as a smart move for the future etc.
One of the most important conclusions of the conference were that entrepreneurs and companies in Croatia should be provided with more affordable business conditions and simplified administrative processes. It is also important that Croatia has well educated people and knowledge, but we must become more confident and courageous in order to successfully expand our business to the international market. Eccos has recognized the value of international business and we want to increase our presence in the EU market, in particular in Western European countries. ”Export of Croatian knowledge should function in a way that Croatian companies contract and perform business in EU markets, not in a way that our engineers leave Croatia and work in the EU ”, says Krešimir Paić, CEO of Eccos.
